No one cares about the murders crime stoppers is a joke. Who wants to tell on a murder and nothing be done. It’s not about being a snitch its about not wanting to be dead also.

Law Enforcement Officers are constantly stopping drivers for bad lights and suchlike. The main danger is Alabama’s more lax requirements and Florida has no authority over them until they enter our state.
(Not that I don’t love you Alabamians, I do, just stating facts.)

The guy the stole my pressure washer is danger and now I am terrifying, scary, frightening and have nightmare about my safety. I told the investigator if something happens to me, you need to look at him first. The surveillance camera where he was staying got somebody coming to his place 2 hours after the items was stolen. I ask them to check the tag number and the suspect cell phone to see who he call or serve a warrant to go inside the house that he been staying for a few days due to the cold weather to see if I can find more of my stolen property .Since he got a record of stealing with arm robbery coming from the suspect mouth but now he found Jesus. I hope I get my pressure washer back since I cannot make ends meet, but my safe, it is at risk to since he watch me all day long in the cold until he got the window of opportunity to steal the item and other thing and enter inside the building and property to. I found one of the items that he stole in the place that he was stay for a few days but he got kick out but that is not enough evidence. I am a victim here I am just not making comments.

I think the Sheriff and his Department are doing a wonderful job. As far as unsolved murders, people who know, saw or have knowledge of these murders need to step up and tell what they know. Most of the time they don’t want to be a snitch or rat anyone out. Just like the thug who killed someone several years ago in a fast food parking lot and is probably walking the streets today as a free man because witnesses refused to testify against him. They were afraid of him or didn’t want to rat him out because of ‘hood culture, so the judge threw the case out. You are comparing apples with oranges when you throw murderers in the mix with outstanding warrants. And they DID discover a burglary ring. Maybe some of the victims will get some of their stolen goods back.

Sheriff needing some quick revenue? why now,why not when he took office? why bother with the out of date speeding tickets when our citizens are being murdered,robbed and carjacked on a daily basis?…money,that’s why!! no different than a good ol’ county speed trap to collect dollars for the coffer and show who’s boss…when seconds count the police are only minutes away……

If you think burglary is not a serious crime you must have nothing to steal. I think if these hoodlums have the guts to enter someones premise than they have the guts to maybe kill someone who catches them in the act. I think Sheriff Morgan is doing a very good job, considering all the crap that goes on in this small place.

@David Green, not a matter of rich or poor, it’s a matter of safety on the road. I’m certainly not rich but all my cars have good tires, great brakes and a decent exhaust at a minimum. Add to that that ALL the lights work AND I keep current and GOOD insurance on all of them too. Is that too much to ask? If you’re too poor to take care of your car maybe you should ride a bike or a bus. Let it be one of YOUR family members that gets hit by an uninsured car with no lights or slick tires one night and see if you don’t change your mind. Too bad our LEO’s aren’t allowed to go after this as well. Then again, they pretty much have their hands full NOW!!

They stole my pressure washer on Thursday, November 28, 2013, Thanksgiving Day. I make my living with the pressure washer and I think 99% who stole but they just cannot go and arrested him. The guy know where the pressure washer was and I only left for one hour all day long so he watch me from the wood with the cool weather all day long. He owns me money. He did not have money to active his phone that next day after he stole the pressure washer he start posting back in his Facebook. I tried to help this guy he did not want to work. He is sorry as a man. He now live in the wood and with friends. I support myself with my hard work but this guy want people to take care of him. He talk about God all the time. He does not like for people to know that his is homeless now 3 months after he finish month of counseling and support from the Waterfront Mission for nothing. He will have another victim soon or may a few at one time since work is not for him. He will get some money some way since he has been to jail many times for stealing and other incidents. He does has knife in his pocket all the time.Regular criminal. He need to be out the street fast.
The investigator that took my report was great in the Sheriff Department and I think he feel my pain. Thank you Sir.

I say lets crack down on the More Serious crimes going on in our community, instead of spending all this time and money on not so serious crimes and do something about all these murders and 90% of them going unsolved sitting in the corner with all the cold cased. Look up the statistics of all the Murders and homicides in our town just this year not counting all the murders last year and I do believe there was like 20 last year unsolved and not counting Mindy Huffmans where her body was found behind woodham uh Not solved the homeless girl found off palafox uh not solved the 2 men a month ago uh not solved the 2 men off Michigan uh not solved I could go on and on but just look up the statistics it will blow your mind of how many murders in the last 2 yrs and how many are COLD CASES…..
