I took a 3 mile long ride to the hospital for the bargain price of $600 bucks. Think I will call a Cab next time. As far as the EMT's, some of the finest people I ever met. These are rolling trauma centers with highly trained and professional staff. I have dealt with several ambulance crews in the past few years, and they are always so very professional, patient, compassionate and efficient. I'm glad to see them get new equipment to carry out their vital lifesaving mission. Boy, what a difference from the old days in the ’60s, when the ambulance was just an oversized station wagon!
