That red light would've really helped.....NOT. This is just an example of how useless a red light is at preventing accidents. It's awareness, or lack thereof, that are the root of all accidents. Keep track of the number of accidents here over a couple of years time, and then compare that to the same amount after a red light is installed. I'll bet the numbers increase after the light. Wow.
