Under today’s sheriff’s policy, he would have gotten away because of the public outcry of police chases.
This person could have went on to the next level and killed. Crying out right after a shooting or a chase is engaging your mouth before engaging the brain. Let law enforcement do their job, then after the investigation run the mouth if you so dare! Most all chasses are for a reason. The person is either wanted and/or has a criminal history.

Arrest report for 4/42013 states that he was charged (along with many other charges) of “POSSESS OF WEAPON” and “CARRYING CONCEALED WEAPON”. I would like to see an automatic 10 years if a convicted felon is arrested for carrying weapon. This would really help get guns and knives out of the hands of people who should not have them.
