Thank you for the kind words about my Uncle Fields. He and his wife were fine folks. 
I will soon make a trip up that way and see the engine he ran. 

It&#039;s ironic, after all the years of him being a Locomotive Engineer, he was hit by a train while driving his car.</description>

Thanks for your suggestion about a roof. We are actively seeking donations for a shelter. From the get-go, something to protect the engine from the elements was in the plans. The biggest problem is money, which has been a stumbling block since 2007, when the engine first arrived back in Century.
Mr. Fields was an inspiration to many who worked on the engine - and he is  remembered as the last one who operated Old 100&#039;s throttle for Alger-Sullivan.</description>

		<description>Hopefully the engine can  eventually have a roof built over it.  Static displays last much longer when kept out of the elements. It looks great and thanks to all for the hard work!
