The judge will if deemed correct for the offense classes for anger management and other classes the judge feels would serve the inmate best. The classes are not free...and if a judge requires an inmate as conditions he or she attend such classes it is not up to the inmate...unless they want to violate the judges order. The inmate pays for these classes not the county nor the jail. There is not a little room in the jail you can go to and take anger management classes. However they offer a place for prayer and talk to someone in a religious atmosphere to help those sort out many things.That in jail would be the only choice an inmate can refuse or accept help. These classes are OFFERED but you can not force the inmates to take them. They get incentives to take the classes but sadly enough a good percentage would rather just continue on the path they are on. EMD
