Gas prices in Pensacola are very strange. It seems to be that the price of gas has no relation to market forces in the rest of the world. Prices randomly jump 8 cents in one day, then drop the next day 5 cents and then back to the starting point. I"m looking forward to the 4 cent tax for ECAT which is essentially a non-user fee.

While on the way to Ft Walton Thurs. I noticed that every Tom Thumb was at $3.25 a gallon for unleaded. There is no way that all the Tom Thumb stores could be exactly the same price in 3 different counties. I go in these counties three times a week. Guess who set the price. Its called rip off.

Goodness, I thought I had finally went around the bend. I knew it was cheaper yesterday BUT after all, they are saying it's lower so it must be......somewhere just not here. I swear at times when I read the papers or watch the news I get this vision of myself being led to the slaughter house like a cow...blind to the truth because they think I believe everything they say. It's like going to church and getting the watered down version to make everyone "feel good" rather than the truth that might help change things. Goodness me.

Glad someone else questioned this. Why in the world did gas go up as much as 8 sents yesterday? The wholesale price went down again and supposedly that is for prices a month out. I guess since we have no government now they can do what they want?

Amazing.... Yesterday morning in Cantonment gas was $3.17 a gal for reg. An hour later it had gone up 7 cents. So much for going down in price.
