1. My granddaughter and I visited station 1 in Pensacola and had a wonderful time learning about the tools that the firefighters use. It is an experience she will remember for the rest of her life, and I am thankful to have had the opportunity to expose her to it...

I remember as a kid looking foward to fire station day! Cops and firefighters rock!

Raises for all county employees asap. The county knows they have the money without a tax raise..... Especially to the cops here in town, theyget paid dirt! How can a county lowball our police and jail officers???? I've never seen such a thing. This notion that you need a tax increase to give a raise is unbelievable.

How about going after the salaries of some of the county commission!
