The State program doesn't pay for "new" roads, or "lines" on roads. Wolf Log is completely out of the town limits, and most of the county's Jordan Rd is out of the town limits. It is improving the antiquated, crumbled, unsafe sidewalks that school kids travel daily; with State funds no less. Sure our taxes are providing those funds, but the Town of Flomaton bank account doesn't have to go any further in the negative to use these funds. How bout this: you price asphault, and secure funding for it and I just bet that 4 out of 5 council members will happily take it! It might even encourage a little social interaction among residents. Flomaton has the makings of being a quaint little town. The roads are in far worse condition than the sidewalks, some don't even have lines on them anymore, especially Jirdan Rd! Then neither does Wolf Log Rd.
