We are one of the poorest counties in the state and allowing a casino would change that in a heart beat. Why don't the politicians JUST ONCE quit trying to presume that they know what is best for the citizens - clearly they don't!!! The politicians may act like they are serving the best interest of their constituents, and any new established gaming facilities will pay high premiums...a drop in the bucket, then you'll see the politicians put the squeeze on the venues even more...isn't that right Atmore commissioners? Politicians will choose money over morals every time and not lose a wink of sleep...
