Any rancher that practices qdm should already be doing this not only to help protect against an outbreak that could affect the entire population, but to protect against the massive financial losses he/she would face with the death of the entire herd. From now on they will have to prove residency before being slaughtered in our tropical paradise. I also think it's wrong that they can just waltz in here and get drivers licenses too. I wonder just how many of them are on public assistance sucking the lifeblood out of otherwise deserving legitimate Florida wildlife. If proper scientific research "was" conducted, they would have found CWD in Florida. Rather than using protective measures, such as pedigree analysis and testing, they shut down the whole program. Here's what will happen....the rich will get richer and the small rancher will, once his population dwindles and prices sky rocket, be driven out of business.
