Aldersgate United Methodist Church is sadden about this situation for all the children and faculty of Molino Park and are raising funds for helping with this equipment replacement. In addition to what has already been raised by our church family, we welcome you to attend our upcoming activities as we come together as a combined community to show our love and support.

Aldersgate United Methodist Church has been collecting money for replacement of computers at Molino Park since immediately after the break in. The United Methodist Men voted to donate collections from the monthly men’s breakfast to the cause; the children’s and family ministries will hold fund-raising dinner in September and October; for donations to Molino Park; and we will accept offerings during our Back to School Bash. To date, Aldersgate has raised over $500 from within our congregation to help replace electronic equipment at Molino Park, and we welcome donations from the public.

Since when are these items not insured? The buildings are, the premises are….are you telling the taxpayers you spend our dollars on expensive tools and then not insure them against theft, damage, or even hazards like flood or wind loss?

The School District does have Insurance…However, the problem is the insurance company deciding when and how much they are willing to pay out to replace the stolen equipment. Meanwhile, the students of today-the students currently attending Molino Park are suffering from not being able to gain exposure to computers. Common core standards are focused on students ability to use computers, take test on computers, and develop power points. The donation drive is to rebuild the computer technology now Thanks for all the prayers and support.

Why couldn’t each school donate just 1 of their school computers and or ipads to use as a replacement. With all the schools we have in Escambia County there would be more than enough to replace the computers that were stolen… Just a suggestion…

I was so hoping the scummy punks would be caught by now. Sure hope they are caught and put to working at leasr community service hours. They better be glad they didn’t caught for something like this some yers back. I sure think there are adulrs involved or covering for them.
