I think that they should have put more in when they were done with the repaving project. Hecker Road is in dire need of them. Having Pensacola State College here is wonderful, but there are people speeding all day long up and down this street! There are children riding there bikes and walking. Some people drive way to fast to be able to stop in time if a child rides there bike in the road or if they are walking or running. If you don't have children or grandchildren you may not understand why this is important, just having a heart for any children can make you want all to be safe. They really do need speed bumps. Speed bumps always seem like a good idea to slow traffic. The problem is the speeders don't travel the street every day as the residents do. Soon the residents will tire of the bump, bump, bump.
