I do not know your family but my great nephew went to Pace high with your son…He also attended his funeral….now he is stationed in Kuwait..Please know that the love that was shown at this terrible time in your lives were people like me that cried with your friends and family. To the family of Travis Nelson:

What a wonderful and faithful young man Travis was to all who knew him. All he ever wanted to be was a Marine and he gave all protecting our freedoms. I thank-you for sharing Travis with us at Pace High School, and I am sincerely grateful for the ultimate sacrifice that he paid for this great country. There are no words to express my sorrow for your loss. May God Bless America and the Travis Nelson Family. Happy 21st Birthday to one AWESOME young man who made this teacher’s life a better place for just having known him. I salute you Travis and you will forever be remembered at Pace High School.
