I got my chicks back in early March, and I did a lot of reading before I got them. Now, they are at the point of laying eggs. I'm excited! None of them have died or seem unhappy. I guess I've been managing OK. However, I will be calling and reserving a seat for the Monday class! I'm glad the newbies like me have something to attend for information. Some things are better to know before get your chickens. I mean, it's good to get predator-proofing tips before building your coop rather than waiting until something eats your hens!
