@Christian Mom, In a way I take issue with your statements. While who ever did this certainly needs to be accountable and held to account for their actions, God could have allowed this to happen in order to save the kids that would have been on the bus from some impending doom if the field trip had occurred. I’m not saying that is the case, but it could be.
Just consider the lead up to the crucifiction of Christ. Someone had to have fulfilled the roll of Judas Iscariot. I’m just sayin’.

It is not that people as a whole are worse,
it is that some people are very bad.

Seems to be a rash of vandalism in this area of Cantonment lately, from ECSO vehicles having windows smashed and tires cut to petty lawn vandalism, and now this. Of course, I have no idea if there is any link among these instances, but this summer certainly seems worse than years past.

Message to the vandals:
You know the church members might know who did this, your mama may not know YOU did this, even law enforcement might not know who did this. But, rest assure Jesus knows YOU did this. If I were you, I would go ahead and confess and make amends for the harm I did. I would rather face the consequences for my actions and ask forgiveness from my mama, the church members and law enforcement than to face the consequences from the good Lord Himself. You know The Lord speaks to people’s hearts. The property YOU destroyed was His property as well.

I think its sad that there are less people that have respect for not only other people and there property, but a church. Our actions make an impact on so many lives and we never really understand just how hurtful one stupid act can be. A ’slap on the wrist’ is not the proper punishment if a difference in the world is to be made.
