Good idea to get this news out. People will root through those bags and everyone will make a dime. The minute word gets out the pile will be gone except for the mattresses. No such thing as junk.

Since more people are aware of this now, I am sure most of the items that can be used will be taken, thus possibly making the debris pile small enough for town pick up. As long as they don’t scatter what they don’t take, it should help the cause!

I actually would like to have the old chiffarobe and possibly the nightstand. I think they could be refinished or painted and they would both be nice pieces. Why not take the “good” stuff to the thrift store next to the dollar general. If I had a way to move the items I would help. (don’t think they would fit in my small car) If they do get donated please let us know where. I always enjoy refurbishing old furniture.

Well from the picture you can say it was put out there in a neat pile. I can understand the towns concern and i know they dont want this to become a common thing. It could have been worse.

I am pretty sure that within all the stuff piled up, a majority of it could be donated to Red Cross or to a homeless shelter and used for the needy.

That old Chiffarobe could be refinished, if not then maybe a nice lady can hire someone to bust it up with a hatchet, plenty of those around there.
