Friend works retail at a big store and says it is amazing how much and what people will try to take without paying. Stuff shoes down pants legs, put food items into underwear, try to roll out a buggy with a television, don't recall anything about theft of tools or shovels or such to work with. These two will be in big trouble if the taxing authorities find they'd have lost revenue too. Wonder if the $1,010.28 figure includes the “loss of applicable taxes” on items?

Many times its when they attempt to return the stolen merchandise at another Walmart. Lately a number of those arrested specifically stated they their sole purpose for coming to Walmart was to steal. Guess the gubermint is giving them enough credit on the EBT cards!
