all u gotta do is what the sign says.If people will stop behind the stop sign instead of at the edge of muscogee rd they will still make it to cantonment .people u must yield to muscogee rd traffic they dont have to put their turn signal on to go west on muscogee rd around the curve .jacks branch traffic must obey the law

I’ve lived in the area that these two roads meet, I’ve drove it for years. The only argument I have about making a complete stop….The log trucks that fly around that corner. Seen a few tip and spill their load in my ditch. When people stop and the log truck roars around that corner, to fast to be seen at first, the stopped car cant get speed fast enough ending in horrible bangs and pictures falling off the walls in my house. It a double edged sword right there!

I live just off of Jack’s Branch Rd. In between the last, and only two public access points to Perdido River north of Muscogee Rd., Fillingim Landing and The Pipes. During the summer these two areas are over crowded with river goers contributing to the majority of the traffic on Jack’s Branch Rd. I travel this road every day thinking that one day I’ll see a police officer writing tickets for speeding, reckless driving, DUI, littering, destroying the roadsides with thier 4×4’s. I have never seen, after all the complaints I’ve read about this on this web site, not one police officer writting anyone a ticket on Jack’s Branch Rd. in this area. Come on out, us locals will welcome you to get this area of the road under control before someone gets killed, which could happen any day. On top of saving a life you’ll even make money writting tickets. Thanks B.P.

Jack’s Branch road begins and ends with merging roads but there is one stipulation at both ends it doesn’t say yield, slow down, or can you make it?….IT SAYS STOP!!! Which means STOP! Did I say STOP? One more time STOP!!!!!!!! It may save your life and mine. Thanks

You cannot blame this wreck on the road. My daughter and I have seen many near misses because they do not stop at the stop sign.
This is the beginning of Jacks Branch…therefore you cannot put this wreck in the same catagory with the other wrecks on Jacks Branch.

My 15 year old just got her learners permit and we drive Jacks Branch Road regularly. She is very diligent in doing the posted speed limit, but I worry about her safety with all of the crazy drivers tailgating and flying past her blowing their horn for her going the posted speed limit.
