We barely made it across in time and ended up jumping to the ground about 10 ft. below. And we had bicycles, I had his and mine running as fast as we could until we got over land and kept running until it was safe to jump. That train missed us by inches. I'd like to thank that train operator for not blasting the horn, possibly freaking my son out and making things worse. Same thing almost happened to my son and I there years ago.
