So, they sent a captian to the FBI Academy and he only serves out another 7 months? What an investment. Try sending the top Sergeant/Lieutenant that can get a better return on that training/investment.

Do state/county taxpayers foot this bill, federal grant or does he sponsor himself?

The FBI Academy is a great individual accomplishment but was it really a solid investment for Escambia taxpayers? Seven months worth of return on that? These questions have to be asked.

This tells me that this retirement was unexpected or rushed and that he planned on staying a decent clip longer. More to this retirement than we see.

Either way, best of luck, thank you for your years of service! Still in great shape also.

What is it to u what he rec’ d for a salary….been there a pile of yrs….31 yrs experience should pay WELL!!!! Just Saying!

That should be a nice drop in the salary cost. Probably can hire 4 new deputies for what they were paying him.

I hope he does run for Sheriff! At least he has REAL law enforcement experience and is actually a certified Police Officer. He has the ability to run that office better than anyone that is there, now. He has budget experience, he’s a people person and he has a stearn demeanor, when required, without coming across as arrogant.
