Please, take the ladder away from free standing pools so little ones cant get into them accidentally. And fence inground pools, with child proof gates. Yes, pool alarms and fences are expensive, but what is the life of a child worth? It takes mere seconds for a little one to get into serious trouble. I will never forget being 18 years old. Baby sitting. The little one was sleeping, or so I thought. I went to the bathroom, he went out the garage door and down the road. Could have been a huge tragedy. I was very lucky.
