I think the governor had always wanted to veto the bill so he delayed his decision and used up every last minute so the legislature would not have enough time to override his veto. They are only in session for two more days and likely will not have enough time to act. I do think they would override his veto with enough time to vote. I voted for Scott the first time around but will certainly not cast my vote for him again for his actions against a bill that had super majorities in both houses and apparently against the will of the people.
