On the way back to her job they saw smoke coming from under the dash. None of them smokers. They pulled over to the right side and got out of the car just a few moments before the dash and then very quickly the rest of the car went up in a huge intense fire. They were fine but car, only transportation for her, was a complete loss. Electrical short caused the fire. Was at my work one day on Garden St. and a stationwagon that was parked and unoccupied started pouring out heavy black smoke from a partly down window. We called the Pensacola Fire Dept and they were on scene in just minutes but by then the thing was just a ball of red flames and black smoke. Quickly put out and the owner who was working down the street came running up to find it a charred mess. Thankfully the people in the pickup got out and were safe. Cars and trucks do catch fire and best thing is to not try and put it our yourself, get out and get to a safe distance and call professional fire fighters.
