@ Really– While the whole thing is odd, there did not appear to have been a crime. What is even more odd was the w/f would not talk with the LEO’s about who/what/why the b/m was in her car and if she knew him. No crime–try to find the subject, talk with him and let it go. The answer may never be found as to why he ran.

I am a homeowner, taxpayer and a voter that lives in north Escambia county. If I came home to a screen off a window of my house (yep it is true) and noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area and was made aware of and/or saw a black male running from deputies in the area, I would want them to relentlessly chase him down until he was identified and a determination could be make whether he committed a crime or not. It appears the officers who were utilizing what means were made available to them, were called off prematurely. It appears that this administration is suffering from liability paranoia. I don’t mean to reference the latest news about the no chase policy, but now it appears we have a situation where the officers will not be allowed to do their jobs. I guess we will just wait until one of the home owners gets home to find their house actually burglarized to start looking again. The spokesperson , who is the voice of the Sheriff indicates that this is not a dangerous situation—-well I surely hope this is not the accused murderer that may be in the Escambia area…according to the local news— before anyone says it….I know the description is not quite the same. INNOCENT people do not just run from law enforcement. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck….more than likely IT IS A DUCK.!

If the sheriffs dept would call the road prison or century for the man tracking dogs and quit using there K-9 maybe they would find him .

please let us know when this man is caught. even if we are not supposed to be worried it is a little off-putting for us residents
