So very thankful to our Lord for His protection. Soooo many praying for Taylor both in FL and in SC. Seacoast Church (Charleston SC) where her Uncle is a worship leader, has been covering her since her family sent word. Oh the power of prayer warriors. Though she escaped major injury we all know the pain she will encounter later and the residuals injuries that can come about. Prayers for her doctors, family far and wide and for Taylor.

Wow 17 year old donating blood at a local blood drive is not what a typical 17 yr. old would be doing after school and softball practice. I find this refreshing seeing someone with values wiliness to help others at such a young age.

No charges were filed in the crash….. Well…in my opinion. .The folks at the blood bank may need to reevaluate the release procedures for a minor. Preventable with some juice, cookies, 10 min rest then demonstrate to center Manager stability , Good color and ability to walk and function.

Thank God she is ok!!! I wonder if once she donated blood did she just leave or did they make her eat or drink something prior to leaving? I know when i give blood i sit and eat or drink something before getting up and leaving to be safe. I have been donating over 15 years but still you never know when that one time may come where you pass out. Being a phlebotomist, passing out is common and the workers have to take care of their patients and be sure they are ok specially when donating because it’s alot more blood being taken. Prayers for a full and speedy recovery Taylor!
