When I heard about this happening I felt so sad. I know Brianna, and her husband & children. Growing up, my dad was a drunk. . And I can’t begin to tell you how many times my mom and I would hide his keys around the house so he wouldn’t be able to drive.. so he would take a cab.. or just pass out at the house. I wish I would have been there to hide Brianna ‘ s keys, or offer her a ride. I have and always will believe that alcohol is the worst drug of all.. yet everyone else seems to believe alcohol is the least or their worries.. but seeing my dad for 18 years drink his life away was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to endure. My prayers go out to all the families.. I can’t imagine what I would do if my fiance was killed in a car accident.. I would feel so much sadness. But as we all know things get better over time and we just have to accept that life is unfair at times. And you will see your loved ones again one day.

I have known Bobby Roys family since I was four years old .So his mother was two when I met her.Believe me when I tell you This is a terrible loss for Bobbys family .Bobby was a beautiful little boy .Big blue eyes /blonde hair/Full of energy.His mother and father are wonderful people .His younger brother and sister are devastated by his death .His grammy and Aunts and Uncles are also struggling /I have not even mentioned his wife and two sons .They have to go through there whole life with out getting to know there father .Every for gets her children don’t lose her .They still get to contact her /In jail or not .They still get to know her in jail or not .She still gets to see them /Raise them/See them grow /See her grand children /Be with her spouse /Live /laugh/cry/love/and be told she is loved/ALL OF THOSE THINGS WERE TAKIN A WAY FROM BOBBY//AND HIS FAMILY/SHE DESERVES TO GET AT LEAST 10 YEARS IN JAIL FOR VEHICULER MAN SLAUGHTER/THEY HAD TO SAY GOOD BYE TO BOBBY COMPLETELY /SHE DESERVES JAIL.

Rae ….. I am speaking for myself and pretty much know how my Nephew feels for
his Wife and Boy’s he would want her to serve her time whatever time that is, that the Justice System will give her for what she has done and also do what you advised her to do for the Rest Of Her LIFE we all have to face the consequences and deal with what we have done to others on this earth and God will handle the rest when it is her time…..

Do you really think he would want her to be able to continue freely driving under the influence? After all with no punishment, it’s completely up to her and her judgement.

That would justify what she did to him, but what about all the others she hurt?
Would they all go along with no jail time for the woman who drank and then killed their daddy? Their son? Her husband? What about the man whose vehicle she destroyed. None of them would consider jail time reasonable?

In fact you say his family should ask for forgiveness.
For what, not getting out of her way?

But it’s not my place to judge. If I drank, I’d probably ignore the danger to others and drive under the influence like Cge, joelle and Chris act like everyone does. I’m glad I chose not to and wish everyone would get off the roads as soon as possible in the evening and leave them to the drunks.

I hope with time the parties in Bobby family can ask for forgiveness …we all make poor judgements at time…I know Bobby life was taken..but I would hope as a person he would not want to see this women go to jail…but more have her do education groups on drinking and driving..the rest of her life.Have her do something constructive…throughout the rest of her life..she will punish herself and she will have to answer to God everyday of her life.Bobby is my sister in law’s nephew…May Bobby spirit watch over his family and friends..

hmmm, I’m a chiefs wife, (retired) And it sucks, and no one deserves to go thru this……….But the choice was made, unfortunately, and it affected the lives of many! I’m praying for all involved. Brianna is a warm caring loving human being who made a really stupid choice that will affect her and eveyone involved for the rest of their lives…I pray for peace for the children on both sides………..they need extra support and love as they have lost a parent…………God is the one to make judgements………..not us, he will deal with all this……….And Brianna will have to deal with this the rest of her life, and will have to live with it and be with out her kids…………so many are affected.
But she will live her own hell and also the outcome of this, just pray for all involved and pray for the kids that are involved, who have now lost their world

BTW – keep in mind that the other driver was sober….these men made great decisons…..wish she had done the same….guess a night out while hubby was away at boot camp was worth a lot to her!

I had the privilege of meeting the Roy family while Bobby was stationed in Norfolk. Bobby was a member of TADA (darts) and I worked with Jess at Cycle Trader. They were both fantastic people, putting their children first. If you haven’t seen the video of Bobby’s homecoming last year, you just have to watch it to see what a close family they were. Archie, myself and the entire TADA family sends its deepest sympathies and prayers to Jess, the boys and rest of the family…Rest in Peace, Bobby Roy!

Okay Let my start by Saying i am so sorry for what happend to both Partys an will be praying for both of the Famileys That lost some one dear to them becaues that is what happen some one lost some one dear to them and i hope that god will help both famleys in there time of need i would also like to say if you had to tell the truth could all of you say that you have never drank an drove in your life no matter how long ago it was if you can say that in truth then i say thank you to you for not puting our lifes in danger not even once.for the rest you never think when you do it that oh that story cant happen to me an when it does wither you are the famley of a man or women who gave up there life or the one who took there life it shocks you to your heart that it can happen no matter who you are.Thats all i have to say i know when i post this some people will say im stupid that im an ass an what ever elles but it is fine whatever makes you feel better about what has happend i hope that time will heal your wounds an that boths famlies find peace an comfort where ever it may be God Bless you and all of your famliey
