Starleigh, you are correct in saying when God calls us its our time to go but he did not tell her not to buckle her baby, the little girl could have unbuckled herself, but to tell that girl god called her baby if she didn’t buckle her is wrong.

Please pray for this family, for they have lost their precious child! God has called and asked for his child to return home. We have to remember that our Children are God’s Children too, and when He calls for them to come they will come. She left alot of sadden hearts and we need to pray for her family in this sad time. My heart is very hurt by all the negative things people are writing about this family, please stop and look at what you are saying; this could happen to anyone….We are only here for however long God wants us to be here. Please remember how much happiness this child brought to everyone so she can continue to live in our hearts!!

I worked in Law Enforcement Communications, and I was talking with a now-retired Alabama State Trooper about seatbelts and wrecks. He told me that in almost all the accidents he worked, if a death occurred and a seatbelt was used, it wouldn’t have mattered whether it was used or not. On the other hand, regarding almost all deaths where a seatbelt was NOT used, lives would have been saved if the occupants had been buckled in.

Take it for what you will, but I prefer to take the word of the Professionals.

I don’t agree with the people who wish to sugar coat such a tragedy. Yes it’s painful and no one thinks it was “intentional” , but had the parent (or) parents been a little more cautious then this may not have happened.

Don’t wait until its too late to do something about these kinds of things.. Act Now!

Buckle Up ! It’s the law for a reason.

Oh Kelly! I am positive her mom has no need of a ticket to “teach her a lesson”. She just lost her precious child. That was lesson enough. I am willing to bet that this is one family that will never again fail to buckle a child in.

With all due respect to the family involved in this tragedy, as a retired LEO, I probably have become calloused to human mistakes which turn into tragedy. I have seen drivers who are driving with small children in their laps. My question, or comment, is do they not trust their air bag, or do they think the child will protect them in a crash? I do not want to inflict insult on a family that has had a horrible tragedy inflicted upon them. My point is to play it forward. People, protect your children, buckle them in. Life is very fragile. Think ahead.
