I don’t think another persons bad decision is a reflection of what kind of “mom” someone is! I know the female personally and she prides herself in being a good mother and friend. There is always two sides to Every story, That girl is a hard worker who has never been in trouble. Maybe knowing her side would be beneficial before making judgements on her parenting skills.

I grew up with travis, played football with him from little league, through middle school as a blackcat, and a Northview Chief in high school, he had good grades and a great athlete, sorry to say he just wants to take the easy road in life and not contribute to society, im not tryin to judge just callin it like i see it.

I don’t condone breaking the law, but, doesn’t it say somewhere how you shouldn’t judge your fellow man? Noone ever knows the circumstances that makes someone feel they have no choice but to commit a crime. Truth is we have something called free will, whether to participate in doing drugs. Lets also not forget when someone gets in trouble we only hear one side of the story, instead of beating people down lets try to raise them up.

Everyone has a choice of whether or not to engage in criminal activity. You cannot rehabilitate someone who doesn’t want to be rehabilitated, or help someone who does not want to be helped. I know what I’m talking about. I taught learning disabled kids for 14 years before switching over to corrections and becoming a teacher here. The men here are much more open to learning than the kids were. Most of the kids were sweet and really tried, but a few were hardheaded and not interested at all.

My point is, they have a choice. They just don’t want to put the hard work necessary into making the right choice sometimes.

Yes I agree he needs to be in jail but does anyone ever care about trying to find away to stop this cycle. Really does anyone ever think about this kind of stuff I know a 16 year old in 8th grade whos parents tried to get him help cause he is learning disabled prooved by many DRs and the schools just hold him back cause he cant do the work due to the fact he can not read he just might take this mans business over……..the problems are deeper than people just waking up and becoming dope boys.
