Wow, opening a dog park brings out the ugliest people. Is this really necessary? There is plenty of beach for everyone!

Are vicious breeds allowed? I’m involved with a large dog group here in Pensacola and we would love to bring our dogs. We have 115 members/160 dogs and the only rule is no vicious dogs allowed. I know for a fact we would boycott the park if they allowed the vicious breeds. This may “make or break” your park to which we all want to be a part of. Especially our group.

Please ban the vicious breeds or be boycotted.

Food @ a dog park, you honestly don’t think people aren’t gonna stop going to that area just because they’re turning it into a dog park do you that is public & alot of families do go there but it might be a good thing that we bought a year pass to go in the fort so we can get away from the likes of people like you if we choose to.

Every night the tide rises and cleans the beaches for us. Where do you think all that dog mess is going to wind up? This isn’ t the leash and collar type that frequent Pensacola Beach. So much for healthy beach water.No, every single dog walker is not going to pick up their dog’s mess.

Also if I pack my kids some snacks,etc., some dog comes up & gets all over, I’m prolly gonna be charged for animal cruelty, if you know what I mean, so you & your dogs best bet is to have a leash & not let fido off or if he jumps on mine while not on a leash yours might be going to vet, & you will be paying your on bill because I’m not.

If you don’t want to abide by rules keep you dog @ home or take to nother park. I for one dont want someones wet dog to run on me, my stuff including my food. Next thing you know you’ll be whining someone stole my dog.

I love the idea of the dog park, but not the necessity of the leashes. How is the dog expected to be able to run? Walk your dog in the water, they get knocked over in a wave, the leash gets wrapped all around them, a leash really???

This is great. My pup loves the beach, and now she can take out all of her digging urges in the sand instead of my back yard.
