This situation sounds of a desperate person not wanting to return to jail. He could have been killed. So could have been the officer. I Feel this person is someone I know. I could be wrong. There is nothing in this world worth getting yourself killed or hurt or someone else hurt. Be a man, Women, Adult. If u did something wrong, Face it. Admit it, Learn from it. Some cant do this. Some need to stay in jail. I had a friend i grew up with who chose jail early in his life. He still to this day chooses that life style. I asked why after all those years do you still continue that path or life. Why? I think its the only way he knows & will meet his maker if he continues. So be it. We have to face our problems eventually one way or the other.

Just verifies how dumb some people can be. Even if the person had drugs, warrants, or something else wrong no reason to run. Being stupid is what got that person shot. Whatever happen to the day when people had respect for themselves and authorities? I guess the standard and values have eroded over thee years. Maybe to many drugs or just don’t care.
Well glad the LEO is okay and no innocent by stander was hurt. I hope that person laying in the hospital takes a long hard look at their life and makes some changes for the better.

Please give more information on this story. It will be interesting to see how many times this guy was arrested in the past, what he had in the car, if the car was stolen or was he running from another crime. 99% of us just pullover for law enforcement and often it is to be informed that a light is out or some other minor thing and some times a ticket if so well deserved in most cases, but try running and you are in a world of hurt — as this guy found out!

Been in this situation myself. Praying for the deputy he is probably having a hard time. Support him he will need it.

I will always support our LEOs over idiots. When a cop says stop, stop. If you run then put your hands on him/her, you might get more than you want…but definitely deserve.

Thank goodness the officer is OK. Who really cares about the fool that started all this. How crazy can people be endangering all the people on the roads doing right. Some people have very poor judgement on things. Praying for the officer maybe the fool has learned a lesson. But he will probley do it again just soon as he recovers. Good job officer……..
