I am with you Mark,
We have not had a Governor this good in years.
No, he is not popular, he is not out kissing Babies and shaking hands like most politicians do, soaking up the limelight. Instead of public appearances, he has been busy crunching numbers and getting the state of Florida's budget in balance, in just a few short years.
If he does not get elected, shame on Florida. We will probably end up with another "spend it and figure out how to pay later" Charlie Crist.

California or Michigan could use his skills, and so could the White House! He might well be a crook, but the man has a great understanding of Economics 101.

Spend spend spend!!! WTH! What happened to the BILLIONS the lottery generated for schools? How about the property taxes that also collect money for education? Colleges get thousands per student and for what to teach them how to read a book on running a business or get a grant to study fish guts? When will people take education upon themselves? We have unlimted resources at our disposal with the internet something they did not have 100 years ago yet students seem to be more and more dependent when they graduate. Invest in trade skills if you want a smarter harder working America and let them earn the office job by working up through the ranks and knowing how it all really works from the ground up. Is there a need for higher learning absolutely but to use our taxes to FUND it is as unamerican as taxing tea in 1773. Earn it then pay for it if you want or need it and stop taking everyone elses money to fund the social elites who can't fix thier own sink but tell you you need a permit to do it yourself.

I am sorry, I was mistaken .... He cut 24,500 Government jobs. Nearly all through attrition and no major layoffs!

Just curious but... During the worst economic times in history our Governor has;
* Balanced the Budget,
* Added over 200,000 Private Sector Jobs,
* Cut Government by 12,000 positions across the state,
* Made Florida more attractive to starting, expanding and relocating businesses, provided for additional incentive funds helping communities to attract business. In fact one such project may bring 500 aerospace jobs to Pensacola.
* Maintained the tax base not increasing taxes.

In the economic climate we find ourselves in across the country Florida is one of the most economically sound state in the Country. In fact, of the large states, it IS the most economically sound.

What more do you want from a Governor?

If I had Scott's money, I believe I could find something better to do than play governor. Especially as he is so very bad at it.

Why don't you take up acting like fmr US Sen Fred Thompson.
