@ Half Truth,

I know about the XP version because of Novell. I can show you computers that have
Office 2003 and SEVERAL that have Office 2007. So, I am telling the truth and nothing but the truth. I did not want to drag in that the Novell system was not compatible with the newer versions of Windows!

Well, that is sorta half truth... They are rolled back to XP because the version of Novell is not fully compatible with a higher version of Windows. They hope to have that resolved and roll all machines to their correct version of Windows by next school year. This is all schools district wide, not just Tate. Also, there are no employees still utilizing Office 2003 and only a handful still utilizing 2007, if any.

Wonderful for Tate and the students! When Specialists ,Clerical, and Secretarial employees get new computers the district re-images the computer taking off Windows 7 or 8 replacing it with Windows XP. Most people still have Microsoft Office 2003 or Microsoft Office 2007. It would be wonderful to have the most up to date Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2013 software. That way everyone would have experience using newer software and all documents would be compatible with each other. Maybe someday!
