I know a few my self, they hire you in, when you hit 11.00, they lay you off and hire in a new bunch at a lower rate. Ever wonder why there is such a turn over rate there?

im happy that west is offering jobs, even if it is “long-term, part-time”….obviously, as was predicted – companies are doing what they must do to off-set the financial fallout from OBAMACARE (no obligation to offer health insurance to part-timers)- my son worked at west about 6-7 years ago- pay was very good, however- he was let go (fired) due to coming onsite, on his day off, wearing khaki shorts- they obviously run a tight ship….i noticed that navy fed is ranked one of the 100 best companies to work for….at least thats what their sign outside said…i believe it, though.

Each person has their own opinion, but I knew a lot of people that had previously worked for West when I worked at Clearwire, and they absolutely hated it.

Navy Federal will be hiring more full time positions soon.
