		<description>Worried, Poinsettias are only mildly harmful but they are not deadly. They can couse stomach upset etc. Amaryllis is very toxic to pets though. 
I have amaryllis in my yard and neither the cats or dogs are intersted in chewing on them. They might however if the plants were in the house. To be on the safe side I would keep them out of reach.
