He originally tried to pay with his own card. When it declined we asked if he has cash or another card. He gave us another card at quick glance we didn't notice the different first name. Then when I took a second look I realized it was his mother's card. We then called the police. Turns out his mother is alive and well and I will end up paying this tab. Lucky me. The police were very helpful and I don't feel the least bit sorry for this guy. We run a legit business regardless of what most people think. And if he didn't pay his tab at Applebee's he'd have gotten the same treatment. No one forced him or his buddy sho also was arrested later to walk in our doors. I’m the one who caught this genius. An article by William a few weeks ago had the SAO blaming low pay of his assistant DAs on this problem. I say everyone with a phone call the SAO and demand that they do the job they are paid for! No more pleas for lesser sentences and probation! No more dropping cases because you dont feel that you have the manpower to prosecute! Do your JOB !!!
