Bless you, although I’m not sure why you were talking about Montclair since this shooting took place in the lovely town of Century. The man addressed had previous run-in with the law in Jacksonville so he’s not limiting himself to one place. Plus, it doesn’t look like he was going after white people. But, if you’re afraid, you’re afraid. To thine own self be true.

I drove the elementary school bus there several years (9-95, 17-96, 6-01). Sweet kids even though some didn’t know how to behave at first. The parents were always happy to see me and never made me feel unwelcome. On the other hand, I usually wasn’t there after dark. I read the arrest records to see what my children or their relatives are up to lately. Most of them are still decent people and their names don’t appear. Those who do are usually the ones I expected to see as soon as they got old enough for public records.

I grew up in Montclair..right on the corner of Versailles Drive. Could not PAY me to live there now. Neighborhood is now the hood period. Black, White, Red, Yellow, Pink with purple polkadots – People are People and some People are bad!

I feel the same – looking around at the grocery store before I get out of my car – looking with suspicion at everyone – our world has become a scary place. But I don’t understand your statement about not being allowed to go in certain areas. All we can do is turn it over to God and pray. Not enough people are taking the time to pray – me included.

Sure you state a car pulled up and Sanders yelled out of the PASSENGER side, why isn’t any mention of the driver. Shouldn’t the other people in the car be held responsible. How can you identify on person out a group of people in a drive-by? IF he did the crime and it suppose ro be so importanrt, why did the State take so long to prosecute? They knew whère he was. I’ve known murders who’ve done less time. Also why would he want revenge for his brother, that’s a laugh, his brother was over 400 miles away when this ALLEGED incident happen. Numbers not adding up, but that,s not surprising.

Finally put this guy behind bars for that shooting. I was there and my vechicle was hit by a bullet. He fired in direction of young kids and all he didn’t care who he shot. I say he should have got more time

This land of mine and yours has become a criminals haven . Evil is on virtually every corner and trusting my fellow human beings is a thing of the past with me. I’m forced to lock my home, alarm it, look over my shoulder whenever I’m out and about. I’m forbidden to enter certain areas because of my color. I’m no different than an animal of prey in the wilderness and I’m tired of it.
