Knocking him in the fire could be an accident. Attempting to make others leave him there sounds like attempted murder.

$6,000 bond?? That sure sends a message about being tough on violent crimes.. NOT!! Sucker punching someone into a fire and attacking a rescuer should carry a few more 0’s on the bond in my eyes.. This is what is wrong with our justice system??
