The speed limit on that road is 25 MPH I have seen no one do that,and I can bet the person that hit her was going faster than that,look drivers why dont you drive the correct speed limit,I often see the Escambia county Police going way faster that the speed limit even when there is no emergency,come on deputies do the speed limit you can make it safer for all of us,

“the driver should’nt have been driving soo close to the edge of the road”…LOL…Where are they supposed to drive? Down the middle of the road? IT’S A ROAD FOR CARS! Re-read the article….THE PERSON WALKING STEPPED OUT INTO TRAFFIC…What was the driver supposed to do? Pick the car up like Fred Flinestone?

I witnessed this happen and Ms. Walsh was not crossing the road she was walking on the edge of the road when she was hit. The driver should’nt have been driving soo close to the edge of the road when peditrisians have to walk where there are no sidewalks! Now the injuried victim has to pay a citation! The driver of the car is a Escambia County probation officer! What’s wrong with this picture???????
