In turn, the probation officers wring their hands and wonder what to do with them. In the end, the answer is vop and put them in jail or prison for a while- let them out in a short while. Then the cycle begins again. In short. there is nothing to do but keep the swinging door on a set of good hinges and hope and pray these crazies don't kill or maim an innocent victim. Many really good officers I personally know have been presented with this problem (as have I) and take it from me and them there is no good solution or outcome to this problem..
