If the economy was in better shape and if the State of Florida Budget wasn't already walking on egg shells, I would have supported the surviving spouse Amendment. I thought about the Combat Veteran break and while it is a nice idea, I think anything we do for Veterans, Combat or Non-Com, should be decided on at a national level because they/we were representing the Country when we served, not just the State of Florida. @Mike J – All those ballot initiatives were put on the Ballot by Republicans in the State Legislature.
