Northview is in Class 1A (Rural) which is based up on the Fall 2010 student population being between 44-600. Northview’s student population has fluctuated between about 500-550 for several years.

NHS absolutely didn’t make the standard for 1a, but did manage to petition(complain) themselves out of district 1 4a where they belong.

The info I got was off of flavarsity.com the site is usually up to date with good info on there just relaying what I read on there last night I to hope we at Cottondale

Really? Tell us how a 1-8 (1-3) Vernon team is going to in a shootout with a 4-4 (3-1) Cottondale team for the runner-up in District 2, and has a possibility of playing Northview? Here’s the District 2 standings:

1. Graceville 4-0
2. Cottondale 3-1
3. Sneads 2-2
4. Vernon 1-3
5. Wewa 0-4

@go Aggie Football Northview is a class 1A football team and I would line them up with Tate anyday of the week so it does not matter how many students are in a school when you have great athletes and when the kids work hard to accomplish a goal they set there minds on. GOOOOOOO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to encourage NHS fans to really show their support. We need to be behind this team just as we did in the past. I can remember fans being there to cheer them on when they arrive back to school from away games. These boys work just as hard as teams in the past and we should support them the same way. I’m proud of each and everyone of you. Way to go Chiefs!

The runner up spot for district 2 has not been determined yet. Cottondale, Sneads and Vernon are all tied and have a shoot out Monday night. It is a possibility that we could play Vernon again in the first round
