I get help from the system and I am not waiting for no hand out I am a single mother who works a full time job and is in school full time. The little bit of help I get helps me take care of my daughter. Not everyone who is getting food stamps are sorry no good people. And not all of us go out and buy lobster and freakin bon bons.

It is not just the EBT system – It is credit card processing as well (debit card too).
I tried to buy something on my debit card and it would not go through .

When computer systems fail this is the results. Every thing now runs on computers. Gone to commissary/ navy exchange and when computers go down there is nothing they can do until the system problems are corrected. This could happen again and this is no fault of our government just a system malfunction. So all on EBT cards or anytype of credid/debit cards this could effect you one day so be nice.Alot of people neec help and I know there are free loaders on the system but thats wat happens to every system people learn how to manipulate it. Look at medicare/medcaid fraud it goes on by facilities making millions.

I recieve cash benefits for my 2 nieces because they are currently in my custody, my husband works full time making close to 50,000 a year but we do NOT recieve food stamps for my household of 6, How am I freeloading off the government? Im not, the money I recieve from the state my sister pays in child support…. so before ANYONE goes judging make sure you know whats going on in the peoples lives….. Its not just parents that are not able to fully provide for children that recieve benefits from the state, there are foster parents, grandparents that take in their grandchildren, aunts and uncles that raise their relatives child…. So lets lets not be quick to judge because who knows if you ever get in an accident and your family takes your child in then wouldnt you want your child cared for?

With all this negativity going on in this forum did anyone consider that children have suffered or are suffering? The children can’t help that their parents may have made poor financial decisions, may be lazy, cheating the system, or have lost their jobs. Either way food-stamps feed chidden, and that should be in the minds of people instead of berating the parents despite their possible short comings.

I just came back from the circle k ( just now its 2:40 pm friday 11/16/12 in pensacola fl) and it was still down. I dont know whats going on but it needs to be fixed cause i got the munchies… lol
