For all who have talked bad about our love one. Spice is legal in Florida. It States on the package not for human consumption. It is incense to burn. We had doctors recommend it for chronic pain. Get your facts straight. So health food stores have the same items. Yes I wish we never had heard of it. Please stop making our family suffer anymore than we are already. These were not kids one is 24 years old. Tell Loses to stop selling glue that people miss use. Let us morn in peace. Yes oyes lotto is closed for ever.

To compare, you find similarities. For example, in both cases the killings were not directed at an individual for hatred for individual acts but as a means to a goal.

Both instances involved people putting their desires above the lives of innocent people.

Both involved striking from hiding, either pretending to just be a passenger or hiding behind a mask.

Both were done in broad daylight.

Yep, while there are differences, there are similarities for comparison. Further, if you look at them as lives lost due to a lack of respect for the lives of others, drug related killings far outstrip the few killed September 11, 2001. I’d have to look, but wouldn’t be surprised to see that the nation spent more money fighting a drug war than it did fighting the agents of 9/11.

i prey for the family of the victim! unsesscerally murdered?….over a substance in my mind should b illegal….i alone am not perfectt?…i spent time with brent in county jail last year?seemed like just nother lost kid?kid? im only 25?…But Tj? ive known my whole life he is like a brother of 2 me?…i have a older brother who spent five years in a FLA prison another Who has spent time in a ALA prison?…MY HEART is Broke.im so heart broken for the familys involed…but u make ur own choices an my brother andd brent has gave there life away by taking one in a sinceless act of violence! #HEARTBREAK

Bottom line is that these two voluntarily chose to take drugs and now must suffer the consequences. What a tragedy! Essentially there are three lost lives.

Yes, everyone agrees what these two did was extremely wrong, but you cannot compare this to 9/11. 9/11 was about pure hatred for Americans, this was about two young men wanting to get high on spice, because it is addictive. Out of all the stores in that area, they picked this one. Why? becuase he was selling spice out of his store, which is illegal. This is a murder that would not have happened if he was not selling spice. Pure and simple. His store was targeted for one reason, they bought spice there earlier, therefore they knew the man had spice in his store.

So who or what is to blame for a pizza delivery guy getting robbed or a shooting in a movie theater or a work place shooting or a bank robbery or a home invasion or bar fight/shooting or a shooting in a church service or a olympic bomb or a world trade center attack……..and on and on? People have been killing people long before spice was ever made, so don’t blame this victim for selling spice, any more than you would blame a convenience store clerk for having cash in the register. These men knew right from wrong and chose their path. They have had many chances to get help for any drug problems but they chose not to, so don’t get on this vicim’s case and try to drum up an excuse for what these two thugs have done. That is what’s wrong with society. Everybody wants to blame something or somebody and nobody wants to accept responsibility for their actions.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Kroll family, one because of what happened to Mr. Kroll, two because they have to listen and read the comments that idiots put on here. It’s my thoughts that Mr. Kroll was just selling what sells. He was an older man, maybe he didn’t think anything about what “spice” is or what it does. No matter what it was those kids wanted he didn’t deserve to die. My daughter knows these boys from a few years back, they were drug heads back then. I feel sorry for the parents of the kids because once “good kids” are now murderers. No matter how they were raised, these kids took it upon themselves to take the wrong path in life and this is where it led. DRUGS are no good! I don’t know if kids will ever learn this. ADDICTION – look up in the dictionary, read it, comprehend it and live by it!

Nah, you’re innocent or guilty no matter what a judge and jury say. It is just that you aren’t LEGALLY guilty until a jury says so and then you’re legally guilty even if you did not commit the crime just as you’re legally innocent even if you did commit the crime but the jury decides sufficient evidence wasn’t presented.

Most people here are discussing the crime — which isn’t in doubt — rather than the accused criminals.
