What I don't understand is why it took so long to get the truth out. The damage done to the families of those who died and to the Gulf Coast wildlife will take years to repair if it can be repaired. Many places that were damaged by oil spills have still not recovered. Look at the area where the Exon Valdez spilled all that oil if you want a "for instance". I was there and saw what it did, and saw the results 15 years later. Take a good look at that and always remember what happened to our Gulf.
