Whereas to me, “local elections” are those elected locally and not those elected statewide or nationwide.

Local VOTES would be how people voted locally on whatever was on the ballot.

I understand your article. But if your heading is “Complete Escambia Local Election Results” to me this would include the local vote for US offices. Also to date I have not seen on your site or local TV any vote total by party or write in for President in Escambia County Florida or our adjoining counties in Florida. I have seen some vote total articles for Senate and House in our local area but not for President. Is there a reason for our news agency’s not reporting that information. I don’t get the paper maby its in it.

I wonder why the US election counts arnt listed on this article. You do know as of now Escambia Demoratics are the reason that Obama is ahead in the Florida polls as of now. State of Florida Obama ahead by 53200 votes. Escambia county Obama votes 57994 votes.
Good job Escambia Demoratics.
Many theses local radicals will wake up.

Hummm, I wonder if Mike Whitehead as figured out that not all voters have short memories! His run for office on the platform that “my opponent double-dips” obviously didn’t work. I think I saw that he said he was eligible for a pension in 2006…I wonder if he’ll be taking it now? For future reference, it’s better to be a double dipper than it is to be a person with problems with ethics!
