So scary. My grandmother had severe Alzheimer and she lived with my father and I when I was in high-school. She got lost one time about 2 miles from the house where she lived for 20+ years, she thought she was in Texas. Thankfully she asked someone in the parking lot of cvs to please help her home, so by looking at her DL the young man was able to get home. By far one of the scariest experiences we every had with her and her disease. Unfortunately, this wasn't the only time. She stole my dads car and drove around town for over an hour until we were able to find her, she got lost by walking in our neighborhood a time or two. That disease is just horrible. God bless her and her family. I pray she gets found soon, very soon.

>>>What is a silver alert?

It is the equivalent of an Amber Alert...except it is for missing and endangered elderly persons that suffer from " irreversible deterioration of intellectual faculties"
