Sean is my cousin by marriage, it was his body they found. They will hold a service for him when his body is released back to Florida.

I knew sean very well and i had met the brothers accused of killing him several years ago in pensacola. I really doubt that he was investigating anything as a reporter, they were just old friends, hopefully this is not the body of sean. I cant believe that the brothers would be capable of murder.

Such a terrible tragedy for Sean; hopefully, whoever is responsible for this heinous crime will be held in prison for the rest of their life. The world seems to be turning into such a violent place. You never know who you can trust anymore. I pray that his family will find some peace even though, I know there will never be closure for a lost child.

This makes me sad.
After moving away from the Pensacola area over a year ago I was shocked to read this. When I first met Sean I was working with Emergency Management and was asked by my director to answer a few questions for a PNJ reporter. I must admit I was stunned by the long hair and beard. But as soon as we started talking I was amazed at his kindness, professionalism, and intelligence.
After moving over to the animal shelter Sean would stop by and visit. He did a couple of stories to help get the animals adopted.
I pray Sean’s friends and family find peace during this difficult time.

One has to wonder if being a “reporter” is not without hazards that may come with the job. But, it certainly does’nt seem that’s the case here. RIP Sean.
