I just hope he can get his voter rights restored…:) Nothing will be done if they keep dropping the charges…somebody take a stand and either lock him up or commit him for mental illness. Just get him off the streets before he kills someone.

The examination can only last up to 72 hours. The recommendation following that examination could have several outcomes:

1 “the release of the individual to the community (or other community placement),

2 “a petition for involuntary inpatient placement (what some call civil commitment),

3 “involuntary outpatient placement (what some call outpatient commitment or assisted treatment orders),

4 “or voluntary treatment (if the person is competent to consent to voluntary treatment and consents to voluntary treatment). ”

For his own safety, please give careful consideration to number 2 above.

this case shows just how broken our system really is.
no one wants to address the real issue and treat the problem. someone is going to get seriously hurt or killed if nothing is done about this man.

Do you informed people know that a baker act only last 72 hours? This is a classic case of your government at work!. This happened to this man when he was in service. Now it is not their problem. The courts don’t care. Kick the problem to someone else and long as they don’t have to be bothered. VA is a joke. It does not take a rocket scientist to see that this man needs L-O-N-G term treatment. Unfortunately nothing will be done until someone get hurts. Then someone SHOULD have to pay. The Courts, VA. His family have tried everything that they possible could do. The answers they get is he is a grown adult. A sick grown man.

Someone made mention that this man isnt broke fat from it. Wondering why the family cannot baker act him his crazy record speaks for its self. What is wrong with the system we have people sitting in jail with less of a record than this man

This is just crazy. How can they keep letting this man out. Wonder how the judge who keeps letting him out is gonna feel when this man really hurts someone bad or even kills someone. They need to lock this man up and throw away the key. I understand he may not be mentally stable but if hes not lock him up in a mental hospital. Our government and judicial system is getting crazy. Makes you afraid to step out on the streets.
