1) if it’s the economy in this case, why is she driving an Infinity?;
2) Thank God Mr. Holland is alive,
3) its against the law to be under the influence and get behind the wheel;
4) just because Judge Dickey used to be a deputy, I can assure you that she is a fair Judge. She will follow the law. All of our Judges follow the law! I know because I work for one. Emotions are out when you get on that bench! The defendant is tried on the facts! She broke the law, period, that’s the deal, and by God’s grace nobody had to die because of her poor judgment..

Its not the economy some people have really bad habits,I’m dealing with the same economy I don’t drink or do drugs some people don’t have no respect for the law.

I meant that I am seeing more and more people drinking and driving. I was asking why that is, NOT blaming it on the economy. I was wondering if the pressure of rising prices, low paying jobs, etc. was beginning to have an effect on people, causing more drinking than normal. Maybe you didn’t understand the question.

The deputy was my father and it was not his fault. The law states that if the police have a traffic stop in progress the traffic must move over to the opposite lane that is farthest from the police to give them room to conduct the stop. She was on pills not alchohol because she wasn’t swerving just speeding. she hit his cruiser going 70 mph and destroyed his back bumper, he sustained only minor injuries (i.e. a few small cuts and bruises) and was fine because he managed to pull off the road in time.

I can guarantee that she or if she has insurance will be getting a bill from the General. She is lucky the Deputy wasn’t hurt. Would not want to be in her shoes in front of Judge Dicky(former ESCO Deputy)

Since it was the economy, then its the federal governments fault she did it. Therefore, the federal government should pay her legal fees, counseling, and what not… Oh wait they were gonna do that anyways… Silly me. Its not wonder this nation is crumbling right in front of our eyes.

How could it be the economy? If it is as bad as they tell us, how in the world could she afford to be drinking…not buying it (pardon the pun).
